Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker with strainer
  • measuring cups & spoons

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cold brew espresso (or strong coffee of choice)
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (use a tablespoon if you prefer a sweeter drink)
  • tablespoons vodka (or 1 shot)
  • ¼-½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 dash of cinnamon
  • handful of ice

Optional garnishes;

  • date syrup
  • coffee beans

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds
  • Remove cap, but keep the strainer on (or grab a cocktail strainer if using a Boston shaker) and pour into martini or coupe glass
  • Optional: garnish with a drizzle of date syrup and a few coffee beans
  • Serve and enjoy, cheers!

Notes

Adjust alcohol content to your desired preference or omit for a non-alcoholic drink.
*This recipe can also be made on the rocks as well. Coffee ice cubes (brewed coffee that has been poured into ice cube molds and frozen) would be ideal, but regular ice works too.
