  • high speed blender
  • measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh ripe banana with lots of spots
  • 1 cup frozen wild blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter or other nut butter of choice
  • 1 scoop/serving size organic greens powder see blog post for recommendations & substitutions
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or plant-milk of choice

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender, starting with the banana. Blend until smooth. Add a splash more milk if needed to reach your preferred consistency.

Notes

Fresh banana adds creaminess to the smoothie. If using a frozen banana, add more milk as needed to easily blend. See the variation section of the blog post for banana-free smoothie options. 
Cashew butter can also be substituted for almond butter or peanut butter.
