This apple cinnamon vodka spritzer is an easy fall cocktail that is made with simple ingredients and is naturally sweetened. It's a spooky season delight. Pairs best with crunchy leaves, a chunky sweater, and a pumpkin donut.
This apple cinnamon spritzer was made on a whim last fall with ingredients we already had in the house. I had no idea it would become a drink that was frequently requested by my significant other or a drink we frequently gravitated towards when hosting. It takes just a few minutes to prepare and can easily be tailored to fit anyones taste.
A few reasons why I love this drink;
- It looks festive without being effortful
- It's light and refreshing
- The cinnamon sugar rim paired with the apple is a perfect combination for fall
- You can eyeball the recipe and still have it be a hit
- It's easy to personalize

How to make an easy apple cinnamon vodka cocktail
First, prepare the cinnamon sugar rim (optional) and add ice to a 10oz glass
Next, add a shot (or more) of vodka
Then add about 3 shots (4.5oz) of apple juice
Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water (or vegan Prosecco)
Add a cinnamon stick (and a dash of cinnamon if desired) and stir the drink
Finally, add a few apple slices and enjoy!
Substitutions
Vodka: for a non-alcoholic drink, skip the vodka and add another ounce of apple juice. Bourbon or whiskey may also work but I haven't tried this - let me know how it goes if you do!
Sparkling water: alternatively, use a vegan Prosecco
- Pizzolato Prosecco Brut (made with organic grapes, available at Whole Foods)
- FitVine Prosecco
- Avaline sparkling
Storage
This spritzer is best enjoyed immediately. Furthermore, it's not a drink you want to prepare ahead of time as it will become watered down
